A brief synopsis of my musical endeavors
Heavy rhythms, harmonic leads, and tasty solos. Echoveil is the current incarnation of my metal project, which can best be described as a mix between djent, melodic death metal, and progressive, with tons of other elements added in. I write, record, mix, and master everything by myself in my home studio. Songs are mainly composed of arpeggios, triplets, palm-muted power chords, and bendy wee-woos. I am currently writing and recording a new album, entitled "Theories," which should release sometime in late 2018. The first single is available on my Bandcamp.
Do you like dubstep? Because this is dubstep. I got my roots in electronic music back around the tail-end of the 90's when techno and trance were kings. Jotunblood (or Blood of the Giants) is the current incarnation of my electronic music project, which started as a techno outlet by the name of Cystem. I have used this project to bridge the gap between many other genres, even going so far as to branch out into rap, hip-hop, EDM, and orchestral scores. I am currently working on a new album, and I occasionally release new remixes on my Bandcamp.
I grew up on video games in the 90's, and no one can deny that their soundtracks were the best. I got my "professional" start performing guitar covers of Megaman X songs on YouTube under the name GodlyJester. I've gotten over a million combined views, and one of my songs was even featured on the Capcom website (which I thought was pretty cool.) I've also done Donkey Kong and Street Fighter songs. December 2016 marks the 10th anniversary of my first video!
